There is a shortfall of one 11v11 3G FTP in the rural area of Surrey Heath
Site options require exploration, subject to feasibility. Possible options to explore, but not limited to, include:
Lightwater Leisure Centre : Grass pitch site located adjacent to Lightwater Leisure Centre containing one 11 v 11 grass pitch and one rugby union pitch. The steering group noted that the site has potential to be developed as a sports hub with multi sport potential in respect of Rugby Union . However, it is restricted by a lack of available space for car parking and site access.
Holy Trinity C of E Primary School : School site containing one 11 v 11 grass pitch. This site is restricted by a lack of available space for car parking and site access.
Chobham Recreation Ground : Parish Council site containing 1 x 11 v 11 grass pitch, 1 x 7 v 7 grass pitch.
Lion Park : This site, in Bisley is used by Woking FC / Woking Vets and contains a single full size grass pitch.
All sites are subject to feasibility. Key clubs which could benefit from a 3G pitch in the sub area include : Curley Park Rangers (48 teams**) and Windlesham Youth (31 teams)
