Notes
Current facilities: Three adult 11v11 grass pitches, one junior 11v11 grass pitch, one junior 9v9 grass pitch, and three mini 7v7 grass pitches.
Current users: Deeping Rangers FC** are the main users of the site with 28 teams playing matches at the Sports and Social Club, of which 4 are women and girls teams.
Rationale: The proposed 11v11 3G FTP at the site will help meet the demand for 2.5 3G FTPs in the South analysis area which was identified in the draft PPS. Deeping Rangers FC** are anticipated to be the primary users of the proposed pitch and are one of the largest community clubs in South Kesteven. Improving the quality of facilities available to the club will support them in growing and facilitating more women's and girls football opportunities in the local area. It is also anticipated that Deeping United** (31 teams) will be partially supported by the project.
This project is currently being explored and planned by the Football Foundation, Council, and County FA however funding and planning permission have not been confirmed at the time of reporting.
