Notes
A strategic site which currently has a 5v5 3G FTP, along with the following grass pitches; 1x 11v11, 1x 9v9 and 1 x 7v7.
The proposal would be to convert the 11v11 grass pitch to a 11v11 3G FTP, complementing the current 5v5 3G FTP on site.
Investment at the site would support a number of key clubs, including Oxford Blackbirds (28 teams, England 3* accredited) and Greater Lees Youth (11 teams, England 2* accredited). Both are growing clubs with four and three female teams respectively. Both are currently restricted by the site's current small sided 3G FTP, particularly for training demand.
An 11v11 3G FTP would allow the clubs to grow their female sections, along with other club elements, including youth and senior male sections. The site could also support Oxfordshire Youth Football League as a key venue.
An 11v11 3G FTP on site would also support the adjacent City of Oxford College with its educational and extra curricular offer.
